SPA TOUR IN BULGARIA |
|
There are more than 700 mineral springs in Bulgaria. All of them are different in temperature, content of minerals and in their curative quality. The ancient Thracians knew very well this curative quality of the different springs, that is why they built their first settlements and temples close to them. The Romans, who conquered the Balkan peninsula in the first half of the Ist century constructed thermae in these towns. They used the water not only to be cured from different diseases, but to keep the body in a good and healthy condition.
